I'm having the same issue.
The Board view in My Tasks is coming back, rollout should begin this month, according to the public Roadmap - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?msockid=2ca37435d0c968a52b7560dcd18569e3&filters=Planner
we want the schedule view, not the board view
