MS Planner Tasks to Outlook Calendar
Hi all,
I just discovered there was a feature that allowed you to link your MS Planner tasks to your Outlook calendar. I understand that this was retired. Has there been a replacement feature for this, or how can I go about linking them?

Hello,
The Planner-to-Outlook calendar integration has not been officially documented as retired.
Microsoft still documents an Outlook Calendar Sync capability that allows users to generate an iCalendar feed for their Planner tasks and subscribe to it from Outlook. Also documents an "Add My Tasks to Outlook calendar" option in Planner and provides a tenant-level PowerShell setting (AllowCalendarSharing) to enable or disable the feature.
I tested this in my own tenant and enabled Outlook Calendar Sync using the PowerShell configuration (Set-PlannerConfiguration -AllowCalendarSharing $true).
The setting was successfully enabled, but I still could not find the "Add My Tasks to Outlook calendar" option or the menu referenced.
At the moment, I have not found any docs announcing that the feature was retired, replaced, or moved to a different location in the new Planner experience. So :
- The backend capability is still documented
- The PowerShell setting still exists.
- The documented UI path no longer seems to match the Planner experience available today.
- I have not found an official replacement feature.
