May 31, 2017Microsoft Planner for iPhone and Android now available!
Big news today: https://blogs.office.com/2017/05/31/announcing-the-microsoft-planner-mobile-app-for-iphone-and-android/
Planner mobile apps are here!
I'm interested to hear your likes and dislikes about the app. The product team uses your feedback to build the best product possible, so the more the better : )
- Erik Bøylestad NilsenCopper ContributorThe same as mentioned before. Plans created from Teams don't show up in Planner-app.
And, it seems that on tasks.office.com it shows the first Plan created in a team, but none of the other. So if we have several plans (or if you create one, remove it, and create another). The only way to access it is from Teams.
Without the sync I end up using the Trello integration even if Planner could be good :-( - Deleted
One of the things our users are noticing is that if the group was created in Yammer and they are using planner with it, it does not show in the planner app. The tasks do when assigned to that person but not the top level stub.
Also you cannot favorite a Yammer Planner (what a mouth full haha). Well you can but it doesn't stick.
Otherwise I like the app, well done.

is there a windwos 10 mobile app for this.
- UWP is on Microsoft Planner Roadmap, refer the earlier reply from Dave Heller in this post.

Looks like plans from groups created in Yammer does not show up in the iOS-app

Thanks for this. I have been waiting for this update ever since Planner was launched. There is a bit of an issue with data correctness on my mobile version. I have around 10 tasks assigned to me on various plans ( created via teams ). When I go to my tasks on the web version I see 10 tasks. However when I try this planned app for my tasks, it is only showing me 3 tasks. For some reason it is not syncing up all the data. This is making the mobile version unusable.
- Damien CalvertIron ContributorFantastic! :) I'm getting stopped with a request to enroll my device even though it is already enrolled with InTune. I assume this is a known issue at the moment?
- bhpbintune emmCopper Contributor
I have the same issue. Upon launching the MS Planner android app, it prompts me to ENROLL on an already enrolled device. Anybody there to address my query please?

would it be possible to file a ticket? I haven't heard of many instances of this
- Jack AertsCopper Contributor
Seems to have the same issue on my android phone.
My device is not recognized. No issues with any other microsoft apps.

Really liking the app so far! It looks and feels much better than I had expected v1.0 to be. Nicely done!
My work is still a long ways off from ever using Planner and Office 365 Groups, so it's too bad that I can't use this for my day to day tasks.
- LeAndra JordanBrass ContributorNo Windows Mobile App?
- Brian CaauweIron ContributorI agree... even though we are in the EXTREME minority, just throw together a UWP for planner for consistency and then we don't have to rely on tasks.office.com from Windows Phone.

Hi LeAndra - the UWP app is on our roadmap for the upcoming months.- LeAndra JordanBrass Contributor
Awesome News! #excited

To add to the chorus here - our Okta SAML sign in page also doesn't work with this app - works fine with all other Office365 apps (except To Do - which is exhibiting this same behavior). When we attempt to sign in the flow just closes the sign in window in app and nothing happens.
As others have said - this is a disturbing lack of testing on Microsoft's part. We know our sign in flow/pages as they work great with every other iOS app from MS, Native apps with Modern Auth, etc.
Disappointed.

Hi - thanks for the feedback here. When we have the fix, I can discuss in further detail what's going on - ideally soon!- Brent EllisSilver ContributorWorks great for me, like what I see in just some quick playing around. Pretty simple and straight forward.
- Aaron CouchIron ContributorOur organization is also unable to sign-in to the app... using branded ADFS login page. O365 E3 tenant.

We're doing some investigating on our end, as that's clearly not the anticipated behavior.

Our blocker that is preventing widespread use is the inability to see Planner Boards that were created in Teams in the app, which is exactly the same experience as Planner on the web. Planner is one of the most natural needs and uses inside of Teams. Getting these two working together well needs to move up the priority list as Teams continues to gain DAU and MAU at a rapid pace.

I really appreciate the feedback there. As you may know, there is still a 1 to 1 relationship between a plan and a Group, and that single plan can surface in Microsoft Teams as well. We are working to sync all plans across Teams and Planner within the next year. - Geoffrey BronnerSteel ContributorI haven't seen that experience on the web, the Planner Hub seems to have plans created from Teams, Yammer, etc. The app is very weird and the plans listed in the hub literally change if I toggle to my tasks or settings and then back again. At the moment I'm only seeing plans created from Teams. But the my tasks screen seems to have everything current.
