Issue with Leaving Comments in Microsoft Planner

Hi everyone

I have been encountering an issue with Microsoft Planner within Microsoft Teams. Whenever I try to add comments to tasks, I receive an error message stating that the delivery has failed because the recipient's email provider has rejected it. This prevents me from leaving comments in Planner.

Error Details:
- Error message: "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it."
- In addition to this email delivery error, I am unable to leave comments in Planner.

I need assistance to determine why these errors are occurring and how I can resolve this issue so that I can effectively use the commenting functionality in Planner.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best
Milan

please check if you are using a trial license. the behaviour is expected to prevent misuse of bad actors.
after changing to full license, we were able to comment as expected...
      best regards

Thanks for the input, they have all a full license (Business Standard) from the beginning on. License can be excluded as point of failure.

Hi Milan2323 and anyone with the same problem,

is there any news regarding this?

We are having the same issue and are receiving Error Messages via E-Mail when commenting on planner Tasks:

    "Undeliverable: comment...

Remote server returned '550 5.7.708 Service unavailable. Access denied, traffic not accepted from this IP"

    regards

janko800hi there, we are still facing this issue, also enabling external emails didn't resolve this issue. We are looking forward now to resolve this issue with MS Support directly, not sure if this is going to help but lets see.
