Is there a way to Move a Plan from one Group to another, or from private to a group?
If I create a plan in Planner in my browser, and select it as a private plan. After it has been created can it subsequently be added to a Teams Group.
Also if a plan is one group can it be moved to another one?

Why doesn't MSFT like to noticely invest in their personal project management products such as Planner or Tasks? It looks as if only Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook get the bulk of the investments of MSFT. Simple things such as better Filters, being able to move Plans from one Group to another, Filtering on labels across plans to implement GTD and see all Next Actions are missing from MSFT Planner.
- JoeBloggs3000Copper ContributorMaybe it wasn't available when this was posted, but for anyone finding this via google, as i just did, you can copy a plan to another group as follows (correct as of 20/02/2023):
Click ... at the top of the plan and select 'Copy plan'.
Select the group to copy the plan to.
This will create a new plan in the selected group with a prefix of 'Copy of '
You can then delete the old plan via ... > Plan settings > Delete this plan (small text at bottom)
Then remove the 'Copy of ' prefix via ... > Plan settings > Plan name
And there you go, plan moved to another group, though hopefully MS add a proper Move option to streamline the process.- OliverR-1982Brass ContributorThanks JoeBloggs3000, this worked fine for me.

JoeBloggs3000 You are correct. But Attachments and Comments can't be copied over when you select different group than the one the original plan was in.
- No, there is not. Once a Planner Plan is created, is tied to a Group and it cannot be moved
