How does new planner store data (Microsoft 365 vs Power Platform)?

Hi,

I am excited about the new planner and look forward to getting to know it better. As I understand it, the new planner is a coming together of the Planner for Microsoft 365 and the Project for the Web into a new product.

My question is about the planner data for the new planner and with the purpose of preparing for any need for migration of data or platform configuration.

Planner for Microsoft 365 stores plan metadata in an Azure based service, Task Comments in the Exchange Online group mailbox, and documents and other attachments in the group SharePoint Online document library.

Project for the Web stores data in Dataverse for the Power Platform.

How does new planner store data (Microsoft 365 vs Power Platform)?
