How are you measuring Planner adoption/usage?
Hi All - anyone find a way to measure Planner adoption? Even some basic metrics of how many boards there would be helpful but even more useful would be some insights into usage of the tool. We can only find a way to pull data using Graph API but a service account has to be a member of every group in order to return results. We can't do that. Hoping someone has found a way or a 3rd party tool that can do produce metrics. Thanks!

- ben-dlvxBrass ContributorHello you can use Microsoft Sentinel for that. This will allow you to issue KQL query against the OfficeActivity logs. By filtering on the OfficeWorkload you will get all Planner activity including plans read, create, edits etc...

ChristinePadilla The only way to get this report is to add a service account as a member of all O365 groups. We have tried all possible ways and nothing helped.
Instead of a Service account, use an Azure AD registered App with the required permissions to get Planner Data
