Highlighting Tasks that need attention but someone with out assigning it to them.

I have a request from a User who uses  Planner to manage projects for a multi-functional team. They want a way to easily see what tasks and projects require their attention.  I thought creating a custom priority or a Flag to mark these would be a good idea, but I can't find how to do that. Has anyone else had this issue or has a solution worked for them?

To Clarify they don't want to be added to the tasks they want to see what requires their attention or aid.

If you have either of the premium (project plan 3 or 5) licenses, you may be able to show what they need using the 'Microsoft Roadmap' app plugin for a specific teams channel. You can specify what pieces of information from any projects shared to that group, laid out in a gannt style chart, including milestones you create within each project (plan).
