Connecting Planner tasks to employee goals/OKRs - anyone figured this out?
My manager wants us to tie our daily Planner tasks back to our quarterly OKRs but theres no native way to do this. I spent a couple hours trying to set up a Power Automate flow that updates an Excel ...
That's a bit of an odd one. Planner is primarily a task tool after all. Maybe when Viva Goals was still a thing, you could have used that to connect. But here's a solution for you. We switched to Teamflect (third party tool but still a Microsoft Partner) when Viva Goals was shut down and we keep our OKRs there. I know for a fact that you can sync your tasks from Planner with Teamflect. This way, I'm pretty sure you can connect those tasks to your OKRs.
Maybe do a free trial and see if it works though. Let me know how it goes.
