Column keeps moving
Starting yesterday everyone on my team was clicking and holding a blank area on the board under a card to scroll left and right. When they did that the columns would start moving and then then move to the last column on the board automatically when they let go of the click Needless the say the columns are being rearranged every minute so we need help fast. What is going on????????????

We are experiencing the same issue and it is affecting our clients heavily

Also where is everyone located? I am in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. I am wondering if it is a datacentre/rollout issue

We have the same problem affecting all staff. The testing has proven that it is not our side (would be happy to be proven wrong!!). Happens on WIn10, Win11, Edge, Chrome, (in private mode too), on our network via our ISP and also from other networks and ISPs.
Agree with you Benrutha with the stuck column. We have same work around in place.
Additional testing has shown some benefit with zooming out.
Also been getting error msgs:
"You can't update or delete "Column name redacted" because a previous update is still processing.Technical details" with useless technical details provided.
I really think it will have something to do with a recent update to Planner.
Shocked that this isn't getting more attention as it's completely messing up our project tracking. Time to look into another software. We can't afford to have this happen to our projects.
Same thing has been happening to me for a few days now. EXTREMELY annoying and is causing all kinds of havoc when I go to use Planner, which happens to be every day.
Also seeing this issue from some of the users here. Interested in a fix. Teams in browser or in app both have same results. Not all users have the issue.
Edit: after further investigation, it is acting as if you have a stuck left click at times. This appears to be what is moving columns around (acting as if a column is selected and you are trying to drag it). This is true for both browser and app versions of Teams. Work arounds we are using: arrow keys to scroll or to click into white space prior to scrolling and then use shift + scroll wheel to scroll
Oh my god they need to fix this! It's causing major problems for my projects. Jobs are going missing, buckets being moved all over by multiple staff unknowingly. Aaaaarghhhh
Same issue here as well. It's driving me absolutely bonkers.
