Column keeps moving
Starting yesterday everyone on my team was clicking and holding a blank area on the board under a card to scroll left and right. When they did that the columns would start moving and then then move to the last column on the board automatically when they let go of the click Needless the say the columns are being rearranged every minute so we need help fast. What is going on????????????

I think this may be finally fixed. Has stopped doing this in both the Teams app and web version. Phew!
As of this afternoon, it appears to have been fixed :-)

Same here. This is driving me absolutely bonkers and costing our team time. We are in planner all day, so the number of times it happens in a day is alarming.
While it's far from a fix, we have been encouraging staff to use the arrow keys for scrolling horizontally. It seems to work.
Thank you so much for sharing this! We started using this approach today and while it does take longer to get across the board, at least we aren't trying to figure out what changed or to where the column disappeared.
I accidentally found a temporary resolution. If you double click in the desired blank space to scroll, you can navigate horizontally without moving a column. Seems like the commands on this page for the mouse are inverted. I can double-click and hold- and scroll on my screen, in Planner, on Board View.
Same issues here, everyone including myself that can access planner trying to view our progress are un-organizing the entire board when the columns move. Microsoft please fix this, we cannot seriously use this board in this manner.

This is hugely annoying. I'll need to use other software if this isn't fixed. Adding so much faff and frustration to me and my team.
My colleagues and I also have the same issue, and it's impacting our workflow quite a bit since our buckets are always out of order. It's quite maddening.
