% Complete vs Physical % Complete
Is there some way to make the % Complete field represent the Physical % Complete? That is to say for the % complete to only reflect the status in the work effort field regardless of the duration. ...
I had a similar question and I would agree with your initial idea of what the % complete value should reflect: the % of effort which spent with respect to the effort needed to complete the task. Currently, it is a complete mess and you can end up with something like this:
Task should take 40 days duration and 160 h effort which is one full employee with an 8 h day. Now how can the task be completed 50% when only 56.32 h were spent and 103.68 h remain???
