New benefits availability
- Jan 24, 2025
Had similar issues with our partners. They logged a ticket and Microsoft confirmed that there're some issues with the new benefits. They did manually add the missing benefit for those partners in their Partner Center.
So if you're missing some benefits, log a ticket and they should fix it. Or indeed wait till they fix the broader issue.
Same here. I do see that Entra ID P2 and Defender for Endpoint P2 have appeared under my Partner Success Core Benefits. However, the things I'm really interested in, Power Apps and Power Automate Premium, are not showing up. 🤨
Got the information from a support case that only the benefits with the *** in the benefitslist will show up starting 22nd of January, the other "New 2025" will only get avaiable at your next annual partner renewal.

Huge disappointment, thanks for the clear answer TobiA, if only Microsoft could communicate like you. Ours doesn't renew until late December, a long wait for us.

Is this information only available via support?
The documentation provided online makes it seem like all the new benefits should be rolled out, why are they not specifying when?

Well, that's a big disappointment. Classic Microsoft stuff, especially when it comes to licensing...
Thanks for sharing the information that MS failed to communicate, TobiA! I'll be sure to spread this update to my social media followers, to ensure any partner waiting for these licenses will need to wait for 0-12 months more:
Teams Enterprise
Teams Rooms Pro
Power Apps Premium
Power Automate Premium

Yeah, I've got a similar situation. We renewed in November, anticipating that the new features would align perfectly with our new directions and plans for delivering to our customers.
Unfortunately, we've received the same message about us not receiving them. This will definitely impact our customer expectations over ourselves pushing technology to help them.
Should have held off for a couple of months... Thanks, MS, for looking out for your partners! This delay is not only affecting our plans but also giving our competitors an advantage over us, as they can now offer solutions that we were counting on.

We have requested a top-up. It makes sense to not have to wait a whole renewal cycle, and also to have parity with partners who:
- Bought < Jan 22, 2025 paying for lesser product till the end of the rewal cycle in Dec
- Bought >= Jan 22, 2025 receive [arguably] twice the value, for the same price, for the same program.

I hope the partner team reconsiders the decision for all partners with this scenario in mind.

I agree; it's a kick in the teeth to be so petty with what practically costs them nothing to provide for their partners.
