Workaround: How to 'Delete A Category' in the People tab in New Outlook
Current State: Currently, you can create and assign a category to a contact card. However, you can not easily delete the actual Category.
Background Info: The categories for contacts in New Out...
In New Outlook, there is no direct option to delete a category from the People tab. The workaround is to remove that category from all contacts where it is applied. Once no contact is using that category, it will automatically disappear from the list. This is currently the only practical method in the New Outlook interface.
What you mean by the New Outlook interface? I am using Microsoft 365 Business Bacic. I do not have contacts assinged to these categories and they are still on my list.
