Won't send and receive automatically
I wonder if one of you gurus could help with this problem. The Outlook symbol on my taskbar has suddenly developed a small Red Cross in in the bottom right hand corner. It now suddenly will not send ...
You're most likely in Offline Mode then.
Select the Send/Receive tab and click on the "Work Offline" button. It should then no longer be in a selected state either (but note that the Work Offline button always has the same icon with a globe and a red cross in it, no matter whether it is enabled or not).
