Very upset with Microsoft
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
I bought Microsoft 365. I want the ability to send encrypted emails which I thought was a standard feature. So I learned that I needed "Azure Information Protection Premium P1" and I bought that too. Now the little lock button shows up when writing a new email but I get an error saying "your machine isn't set up for IRM" I've tried to talk to support and they have sent me down a rabbit hole so far. Nobody has been able to help. I also do not have the lock button on the OWA side, so I am not able to send encrypted emails using the web side of outlook because the little lock button isnt even there. I've tried installing Azure client since I didn't even know I was supposed to do that, and there was one other thing installed in conjunction with Azure client but I can't remember what that was. I found one set of instructions that told me to...
In the left pane, choose Admin centers > SharePoint admin center.
In the left pane, choose settings, and then choose classic settings page.
In the Information Rights Management (IRM) section, choose Use the IRM service specified in your configuration, and then choose Refresh IRM Settings. After you refresh IRM settings,
And I tried that but when I go to refresh the settings I get a error saying "sorry, something went wrong" followed by, Correlation ID: 37cce4a0-d06b-4000-3dae-30a1c51a05b1
I am so disappointed with Microsoft's help & support, they have left me in the chat, sent me around the world to accomplish nothing, tried to up sell me to solve my problems, given the wrong information, and its been over a week since this issue started. I need to be able to send encrypted emails for my campaign and its now costing me money every day that I can't. If anyone knows whats going on please!!!! Help!!!!
