VerizonAOL e-mail stopped syncing with Office 365

About once a year, my Verizon AOL e-mail stops syncing with Outlook 365.  I have tried everything suggested in prior comments.  The settings I have in Outlook match my settings in VerizonAOL mail.  I've lost thousands of emails and folders.  Please help
