Browser Minimum requirements to run Outlook.com:
- Microsoft Edge (version 79 or later)
- Chrome (version 79 or later)
- Firefox (78 or later)
- Safari (version 16 or later)
- Opera (76 or later)
Does this mean if i am running Outlook on my desktop (i do have a Office 365 personal subscription) but use the desktop app I have to update settings? Or do i not need to bother if i have a subscription for office 365?

Thanks for the info.
So i do not need to change any settings I can open outlook on my Desktop (ie not through web) and it will work as normal from the 16th Sept?

I'm sorry. I answered incorrectly, and I will delete my original response to you to prevent confusion. This topic is confusing enough by itself.
Correct Answer:
You are okay with logging into your personal subscription via the website. No action needed.👉On your desktop computer, you must download the latest Outlook App and set it up using Outlook.com Sync. If you don't use the syncing app, it will only download 12 months of data.
