"Unable to load these settings. Please try again later" needs to be fixed ASAP
I've been getting "Unable to load these settings. Please try again later" on Sync email page accessing settings of my outlook account. I'd like to remove linked accounts and unable to do that.

It's a bug and Microsoft is working on fixing it.

They've been "working" on it for at least a month now. After further investigation, my understanding is that they had removed aliases feature (or whatever the marketing name for that is) for free Outlook users and reserved it for paying customers only, making configuration inaccessible for existing (free) user base. With no direct way to contact support about this issue and no financial incentive for them to expedite the resolution of it, I just don't see how and/or when it's gonna get resolved. We're SOL.
- Mar 17, 2022Connected accounts were removed for everyone as of May 2021 - but people using the feature were grandfathered in. And yes, it's been broken for everyone for at least a month, but has been buggy off and on for 4 months or more.
