Unable to add Apple Mobile me account

When trying to add me.com account get We couldn't log on to the incoming (IMAP) server. Please check your email address and password and try again. Do not see any difference in settings compared to that in Office 2019.

Hi Techcoor, are you trying to add the apple account to New Outlook or Classic? Classic requires an "app password" and the New Outlook connects via the cloud. Office 2019 is classic and requires app password.

Yes, I had figured that the Office 365 Outlook required "app password". I had not recorded that I had used "app password" for Office 2019. Had problems responding. Had to go to Firefox to be able to select the correct email as Microsoft Edge keep coming up with the wrong email.
