The Outlook eternal issues

I think I'm not alone...

I still wondering how a software company like Microsoft can deliver such a bad quality software like Outlook 365 (and Teams).

It's mainly a mail client but it's by far the worst software in this group.

There are issues that are still in place from the very first versions:

• mail drafts: a nightmare...very often I write new mails and, for mysterious reasons, when it comes the time to send, I get messages like "message can't be saved because opened in another window (??? which one ???) or  "can't save the message because it has been modified" (!!??). Almost all the time I need to copy and paste text, recipients, attachments into a new email (and pray). Sometimes I also loose the message.
• outbox: is like a Russian roulette...sometimes I find that messages stuck in the outbox folder without been sent. Reason? Who knows... After that, is impossible to resend the message, you can press the send button any number of times but in the end, you need again to copy to a new one and send
• contacts: a masterpiece. With any other software, it's enough to type few letters of any part of the mail address and you get the list of matching recipients names. Even the gmail browser version does much much better. Using outlook you need to type EXACTLY the first letters of the mail addresses, otherwise you don't get any hint. Having contacts saved in the Address book doesn't help in any way. So, I need to remember exactly the mail addresses and deal with the different naming policy, like email address removed for privacy reasons, email address removed for privacy reasons,  email address removed for privacy reasons etc. In my case, I have near thousand of contacts...not easy to remember all of them...

So, please Microsoft developers, instead of issuing bunches of useless new features, fix these very very basic features for an e-mail client. We don't need AI, we only need to send and receive e-mails!

Outlook is a software that we pay, it must work! At least in the very basic features.
