Still receiving emails from blocked domain
Hope this helps.
With Outlook open in your browser, navigate to settings. It's the cog at the top right of the page.
Select 'Junk email' then scroll down until you see the 'Senders' section. Select 'Blocked senders and domains' and click '+ Add blocked sender'.
Enter the domain to block and click OK.
*However*, I noticed the 'Save' button disappears upon clicking OK. I reopened outlook.com and the list is empty. I'd say this is a good indication as to why some have mentioned blocking the domain does not block messages from it.
I have reported this to Microsoft.
Hi, so for me the save button was there and I have a long list of blocked domains and senders.
However, blocking both the email address and domain separately did stop me receiving emails from them.
In order to solve this, I had to create a rule to block the phrase mailjetzky, which is a hassle that I now have to block keywords from certain scammers to stop them sending me mail, which could lead me to missing out on important mail.
I just wish Microsoft's block function actually did it's job and worked.
