spam junk and other unwanted e mails
I have an outlook e mail account for about 30 years. I use it only for personal matters. I have a second similar account for purchases and subscriptions. For about the last 12 months the volume of junk, spam and some sexually inappropriate messages have been sent to me. I diligently block or report them but they keep on comin. When I sign back in there is more. I don not know who deals with the reports when I click the 'report' message. Today I have 25. If I click on 'report' where do the messages go and who or wha deal with them and why can't microost stop all this stuff. I am getting more junk spam and inappropriate messages than acual genuine messages.

When you report a message: the machine learning engine will be updated.
Your best option is to open a Microsoft Support service request. - many thanks and I will certainly follow up on your suggestion

Just give Microsoft some time to update their mailfilter. From my experiences, I know that these kinds of issues will be fixed in a matter of weeks.- But the problem has existed for months and shows no sign of abating. Thanks for the reply though

- Thanks to all who have responded. Here is a thing. I get stuff which after a lot of digging and reading the message source (as in 'view message source' box, I have found this common sender
email address removed for privacy reasons nhowever when I try to add it to the blocked senders and domains, it does not appear when I check the list.tombola Create a rule and move these unwanted senders to the trash:
