Spam in inbox getting out of control
I understand your frustration. Microsoft has noted to improve spam in 2025 but it was not clear if it includes Outlook.com or Hotmail. Here is a "WORKAROUND" solutions.
- Create a folder called Approved Messages
- For known approved senders, create a category & Rule.
- From the ribbon, select category, click a red and rename it to Approved Message.
Next create a rule.
View 》view settings 》Mail 》 rules 》add a Rule
- Give it a name
- @At Conditions, choose From and add multiple email addrRule. (Keep adding senders to this rule)
- At Add an Action, add two actions:
Assign to a Category & Move to the Folder
-Run rule and Save
