Setting up a resource with mandatory information
Does anyone know if it is possible to set up a resource within outlook that can be booked (like a conference room), but either requires specific information to be added before it can be submitted (or gets automatically declined if not completed), or has a template in the meeting invite?
For example, we have certain rooms you are only allowed to book for certain reasons and specific information is requested for the room owner to determine whether the request should be accepted or rejected. Often users forget to complete this information as it's not mandated or included in a template for the particular resource and it ends up being rejected and causes a lot of back-and-forth.
Thanks!
- You can use Outlook forms for such scenarios, but it's a bit of a hassle to deploy them across all clients and modalities. I'm sure there's some add-in out there that does something similar, which might be a better option.
Or you can stick with delegates/manual approvals.
