Sending calendar invitations from an IMAP account
I use Outlook for Mac and have a primary business email account connected as well as my Outlook account. When sending calendar invitations, I generally send from the business account (IMAP) and copy my Outlook account. This results in two calendar entries but allows me to see the calendar on my phone using Outlook for iPhone.
I realize that because it is an IMAP account, calendar items don't actually sync with my server but are registered as "on my mac."
I have had to rebuild my profile several times, and each time, all of the invitations sent from the business IMAP account are lost. I still have the invitations on my calendar through the invitation sent to my outlook calendar, but I no longer can edit, delete, or manage them.
Is there some other way to handle this that doesn't lose me access? Can I set up an alias for my outlook email or otherwise solve this problem? I can't be the only one struggling with this need to send invitations from an imap email account and retain the ability to edit and manipulate them.
Thanks!
