search not working in outlook.com

I am trying to search my emails, but it just says no suggestions found, same as when I type an email, I start typing the email address and nothing comes up

 

please can some one help, just started doing it today

    Hi, this can sometimes happen if Outlook.com’s search index is temporarily out of sync or if the browser cache is interfering. First try signing out and back in, then clear your browser cache or test in a different browser to see if the problem continues. If you are using the Outlook mobile app or the Windows Mail app, try restarting it and syncing again. Another helpful step is to check the Outlook.com service status page to make sure there are no ongoing issues. If the issue only affects autocomplete for email addresses, clearing the saved contacts cache by retyping and saving the address again can also help.

  • Hi there, it seems you are using a browser to login? Or are you using a desktop app with an Outlook.com account? 

    If a browser, then try another one. If that fails, try logging into igcognito. 

    If those all fail, then you can call Microsoft and see if they can look at your account.
