Search Function on Outlook 16.33 (20011301)

We have been doing the updates most recently to our Microsoft Products the Mac version for the past few months and all other applications are running well with the updates except for Outlook every time. The search function is not always able to find any email either within the inbox or sub folders. It will work when looking on the online version, but that is very cumbersome to have to do that each time. Is there anyway that you guys can get a full resolution on this for future updates and version for Mac? I don't to keep getting stuck on this problem. Thank you.
