Schedule for ALL outgoing emails
Hi sanriveral,
yes, there is a rule in Outlook that you can use to schedule all outgoing emails.
Delay or schedule sending email messages - Microsoft Support
How to schedule all outgoing emails to be sent at 8am the next day in Outlook:
- Open Outlook and go to File > Options > Rules & Alerts.
- Click New Rule.
- In the Start from a blank rule section, select Apply rule on messages I send and click Next.
- In the Select conditions section, you can leave all of the check boxes empty. This will mean that the rule will be applied to all outgoing emails.
- In the Select actions section, select defer delivery by a number of minutes and enter 720. This will delay the delivery of all outgoing emails by 720 minutes, which is 12 hours.
- Click Next.
- In the Add exceptions section, you can leave all of the check boxes empty. This will mean that the rule will be applied to all outgoing emails without any exceptions.
- Click Next.
- In the Specify a name for this rule box, type a name for the rule, such as "Schedule all outgoing emails".
- Select the Turn on this rule check box.
- Click Finish.
Once you have created this rule, all of your outgoing emails will be scheduled to be sent at 8am the next day. You can still send emails outside of these hours, but they will not be sent until 8am the next day.

LeonPavesic Thanks! I use those 2 methods often. The first one every time a write an email afterhours or during the weekend. The second one to delay all sent emails 2 minutes so if I made a mistake I have 2 minutes to correct before it flies out.
What I want to avoid is the first situation when I'm writing an email afterhours and I need to set a Do not delivery before time in every single email.
I was hoping that I could tell outlook "Do not deliver email messages between 6pm and 8am M-F or during the weekends".
Do you knw any other future that can help me with this?
Regards,
Santiago

Hi sanriveral,
thanks for your update.I understand that you are looking for a way to schedule all of your outgoing emails to be sent at 8am the next day, without having to manually set a Do not delivery before time in each email.
Unfortunately, there is no built-in way to do this in Outlook. However, there is a workaround that you can use.
Create a rule to delay the delivery of all outgoing emails by 12 hours.
To do this, follow these steps:
To prevent Outlook from sending emails between 6pm and 8am M-F or during the weekends, you can create another rule that deletes any emails that are sent during those times.
To do this, follow these steps:
Open Outlook and go to File > Options > Rules & Alerts.
Click New Rule.
In the Start from a blank rule section, select Apply rule on messages I send and click Next.
In the Select conditions section, select where the sent time is between and enter the following times:
- Start time: 6:00 PM
- End time: 8:00 AM
In the Select days of the week section, select the days of the week that you want the rule to apply to.
In the Select actions section, select move the item to the specified folder and select the Deleted Items folder.
Click Next.
In the Add exceptions section, you can leave all of the check boxes empty. This will mean that the rule will be applied to all emails that are sent during the specified times and days of the week.
Click Next.
In the Specify a name for this rule box, type a name for the rule, such as "Delete emails sent between 6pm and 8am M-F or during the weekends".
Select the Turn on this rule check box.
Click Finish.
Once you have created this rule, Outlook will delete any emails that you send between 6pm and 8am M-F or during the weekends.

Hi LeonPavesic Outlook is capping my maximum deferal time at 120 minutes. Is there a way to increase that?
