Reverting new Outlook 365 Try now public preview

Hi Community,

I am experiencing some issues with the new Try Now public preview of Outlook 365. So, I decided to revert the changes back to the previous version (Classic version).

Try the following from Windows 11:

1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Microsoft Outlook

2. From the Reset option -> Click Repair. (See below)

3. Once repair is done, it should then go back to the previous version.

Hope it works for you as well.

Cheers,

The toggle for "Try the new Outlook" disappeared in the new outlook for me. I tried adding the registry key for the outlook toggle:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General\
DWORD HideNewOutlookToggle = 0 (not hidden) or 1 (hidden)
    as outlined here: https://www.askvg.com/tip-show-or-hide-try-new-outlook-toggle-option-in-microsoft-outlook-titlebar/
but even that did not give me the option to revert back to classic.
Thank you for this fix! This worked with a small tweak for Windows 10:

Start > Settings (gear icon) > Apps > Apps & features > Outlook > Advanced Options > Repair
