Repeat messages and flyers

Periodically I send concert flyers to customers using my 'sent' messages folder as a form of database by selecting from the list. In the past the process has been quite simple in being able to use the 'back' button taking me to where I had left off so I can select the next name on my list. This no longer works meaning I have to scroll down from the beginning each time. Is there any way this can be resolved?
