Microsoft started enforcing limits on the number of emails you can sent to external recipients per day, you are likely hitting that. Depending on your needs, it might be best if you use a service that specializes in bulk messaging instead, i.e. the likes of SendGrid, MailChimp, etc.

Vasil, thank you very much for your reply. You definitely pointed out my issue. I can get around it now, but will be moving to SendGrid, mailhub, etc. shortly.
