Forwarding of mail moved to the inbox (and junk..)
Hey Hornetster
Thanks Of connecting Microsoft
I am assume that you have a hotmail account and from there you have forward the mail to other account.
So here is some step you can follow on hotmail. it can help you.
- Login to Your Hotmail Account
- Open your browser and go to https://www.hotmail.com.
- Enter your credentials and sign in to your Hotmail account.
- Access Settings
- In the top-right corner of your inbox, locate the Settings icon (gear icon).
- Click on it to open the settings menu.
- From the drop-down, select "View all Outlook settings".
- Navigate to Safe and Blocked Senders
- In the settings menu, under Mail, choose Junk email.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Safe and blocked senders.
- Click on Safe senders.
- Add an Email Address or Domain
- Under Safe senders, you will see an option to add an email address or domain.
- To whitelist a specific email address, type the full email address (e.g., email address removed for privacy reasons).
- To whitelist all emails from a domain, type the domain name alone (e.g., @enrd.eu) to allow all emails from that domain to bypass spam checks.
- Add to Safe List
- After entering the email address or domain, click on Add to list.
- Confirm the Whitelist
- The email address or domain should now appear in your Safe senders list.
- Any future emails from this address or domain will be delivered to your inbox without being marked as spam.
Thanks for your time and cooperation on this conversation. Please feel free to reply to me if you have any concern.
Thanks for the reply, but a fairly unhelpful answer.
I know all about Whitelists-Blacklists, safe-blocked senders, etc.
2 issues I mentioned-
1- Only, mostly REAL junk, goes to junk, and
2- Once marked as NOT JUNK, the email is automatically forwarded.
ie Outlook is marking way to many emails as Junk, when they obviously aren't, and there is no easy way to lower the detection rate, AND
once marked as NOT JUNK, the mails don't automatically get forwarded, when they are moved to the inbox...
Thanks.
