Prevent editing specific dates for shared MS Outlook calendar

Hi. I am using an Outlook 2016 calendar that multiple users have full editor access to. I need to disable editing of calendar entries for these users, but before a specific date. For example, a user should have full edit access to all dates after the 15th of the current month, but all dates before should be viewable only. Is it possible? I know that outlook has the ability to interact with the calendar through VBA scripts, but I have not yet found the information I need in the documentation to implement this task. I would be grateful for any help.
