Pictures in meeting invite not showing

2 years later, still an issue. Genuinely cannot understand why this stuff is not fixed, clearly multiple users experience this. Its not a fata morgana. When I send a meeting invite with images pasted in the body of the invite, it is received with the image missing, showing a red x, as explained by the OP. Please fix this.
