If Outlook on your Mac is stuck on "repairing main profile" and not completing due to a space issue, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:

    1. Restart Outlook: Sometimes, restarting the application can resolve temporary issues. Close Outlook completely and then reopen it to see if the problem persists.
    2. Check System Storage: Verify that you indeed have sufficient free space on your Mac's hard drive. Go to the Apple menu > About This Mac > Storage to check the available space. If you have more than enough space available, proceed to the next steps.
    3. Clear Cache: Outlook might have accumulated a large cache that could be causing the issue. Clearing the cache might help. Follow these steps:
      • Quit Outlook completely.
      • Open Finder and click on "Go" in the top menu.
      • Press and hold the Option key, and you'll see the "Library" option appear. Click on it.
      • Navigate to the "Containers" folder.
      • Look for the folder named "com.microsoft.Outlook" and move it to the Trash.
      • Restart Outlook.
    4. Run Outlook in Safe Mode: Running Outlook in Safe Mode disables add-ins, which can sometimes cause issues. Hold the Option key while starting Outlook, and it will prompt you to run in Safe Mode. Test if Outlook works fine in this mode.
    5. Update Outlook: Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Outlook installed. Updates can bring bug fixes and improvements.
    6. Create a New Profile: If the problem persists, try creating a new Outlook profile. Here's how:
      • Quit Outlook completely.
      • Go to the "Applications" folder and find Microsoft Outlook.
      • Hold the Option key and click on Outlook. This will open the Microsoft Database Utility.
      • Click the plus (+) button to create a new profile.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your email account.
      • Once the new profile is created, open Outlook with the new profile and see if the issue is resolved.
    7. Repair Office: If none of the above steps work, you can try repairing the Microsoft Office installation. To do this:
      • Close all Microsoft Office applications.
      • Open "Finder" and go to "Applications."
      • Find and open the "Microsoft Office 365" folder.
      • Look for and open "Office" or "Outlook" and select "Get Help" from the menu bar.
      • Click on "Troubleshooting," then select "Repair."

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there might be a more complex problem with the Outlook database or installation.
