Outlook won't download. it just shows an icon that looks like a white page with a turned down corner

All office 365 apps were working on my HP Spectre laptop (12 mths old)  then Outlook stopped working saying I had to go to live.com.au. 

I uninstalled all the ofifice 365 Apps and reinstalled a few time but while the other apps download and work fine, the outlook app does not.

It shows up as an icon which is a white page with one corner turned down.  all the other apps show what they are supposed to show eg word etc

It will not open in safe mode either.

Outlook 365 is still working on all my other devices.

How can I get Outlook to download?
