Outlook Won't Connect to Gmail Accounts

I had 3 Gmail accounts in Outlook.  Recently, one account failed to connect with Gmail. I removed the account from Outlook but now Outlook will not connect to the Gmail server to add the account. Now, a second Gmail account will not connect to Gmail. I attempted repairing the account in Outlook and made sure Google allows connection  to Outlook but none of these fixes worked.  Outlook simply won't connect to Gmail anymore.
