Outlook will not stay on the selected email when exiting a search
When using either Outlook on the desktop or Outlook on the web, I can search for a term such as a PO number. It will return all of the emails with that PO number in the email. I can select one of the emails. If I exit Search by clicking on the x next to the search term on Outlook for Desktop or the arrow on Outlook for Web, I am taken back to the top of my Inbox. I want it to show me all of my emails in my Inbox with the email I selected from the search still selected.
This behavior works as I would like to see it on Outlook for the Desktop using IMAP accounts. But it does not keep my selected email selected when I am using an Office365 account.
Can this behavior be changed in Office 365?
- KenajeCopper ContributorHow has this not been answered! I need this as its annoying me. it used to do it and then it stopped then i have to go through the dates to search for the email and then review the day to see if I can find a message that happened on that same day before that message
