Outlook Time Zone Updater Tool download 64 bit
Hi,
We use the Outlook Time Zone Updater tool with some regularity in our organisation and have the 32Bit version on hand which works well with our on-premise and O365 mailboxes. However we now have some machines running the 64Bit version of Outlook and the 32bit tool doesn't work with them.
I note the link to the download the tool has now been removed. (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=%20E343A233-B9C8-4652-9DD8-AE0F1AF62568&displaylang=en)
Does anyone know how we could obtain the 64Bit version?
Thanks,
Jon

Hi ITJon1545,
The 64-bit version of the Outlook Time Zone Updater tool was discontinued by Microsoft.
A safer alternative is to use the 32-bit version of the tool on 64-bit machines by running it in compatibility mode.
Another option is to use a third-party tool to update your Outlook time zone data. There are a number of different tools available, both free and paid. Some popular options include:
- Time Zone Fixer
- Outlook Time Zone Updater
- Outlook Time Zone Data Update Tool

Thanks for your reply (sorry for delay never got a notification email through!).
The issue isn't running the OS version (32/64) but the fact the Outlook on the machine is 64Bit. So if we run the tool on a 64Bit Win 10 with 32Bit Outlook it runs fine, but not if the tool is run on 64Bit Win 10 with 64Bit Outlook.
Interested to hear you mention other tools for doing this, however none of those 3 you posted seem to come up as bits of software. In fact number 2's top post is this thread 🙂
Do you have actual links to product pages/downloads?
Thanks,
Jon
