Outlook Text Padding in Preview

Hello all,

While in compact view, the column that shows my list of messages (preview pane?) has a peculiar bug. The left and right text padding is very wide and is limiting the amount of text that can be displayed. In order to see an adequate amount of text, I need to expand this preview column to almost the width of my screen. I've tried resetting my view settings and text size, but these settings don't resolve my issue. Not the end of the world, but it always looks like the preview column can fit more text than it's showing. I'd appreciate anyone's help!
