In Outlook, the default behavior is to save sent items in the "Sent Items" folder rather than the inbox. This is the standard behavior for most email clients and is designed to keep your inbox focused on incoming messages while keeping a separate record of sent messages.

However, if you prefer to have a copy of your sent messages included in your inbox, you can enable the "Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder" option.

Here's how you can do it in Outlook:

    1. Open Outlook and go to the "File" tab.
    2. Click on "Options" in the left-hand menu.
    3. In the Outlook Options window, click on "Mail" in the left-hand menu.
    4. Scroll down to the "Save messages" section.
    5. Check the box next to "Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder."

By enabling this option, a copy of each sent message will be saved both in the "Sent Items" folder and in the inbox. This allows you to have a consolidated view of your sent messages along with your incoming messages.

Keep in mind that enabling this option may result in duplicate messages in your inbox if you already have the sent items in the "Sent Items" folder. It's recommended to clean up any existing duplicates before enabling this option.

Additionally, please note that the exact steps and options may vary slightly depending on the version of Outlook you are using. The instructions provided above are based on Outlook 2019/Outlook 365 for Windows.
