Some websites suggest to do the following, without the need to Uninstall this update:
Registry Key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ software \ microsoft \ office \ 16.0 \ outlook \ search
Add Entry DWORD.
Name DWORD: DisableServerAssistedSearch
Value DWORD: 1
Anyone tried this?
I confirm that after adding the value in registry and reboot the computer, after 5-10 minutes the search went back to normal. we use outlook365 with exchange.
- Does this bug affect the Outlook 365 as well?
