Outlook search is not working

Outlook search function is not working on my Windows 10 Desktop - the error first occurred on 13th December 2023


ANyone any ideas for a solution?

Look elsewhere, this seems to be a 'common' problem.

    in Service Health section in Microsoft 365 admin center is a global incident regarding this issue:

      Outlook Search is now working again (for me).
