Outlook Password Prompt Query

Hi all,

 

Hopefully a quick query. Does anyone know how many times Outlook (using basic authentication) will retry with invalid saved credentials before prompting the user to enter new credentials?

    Um, I've seen different behaviors on that one. More often than not, it will continue trying the stored credentials and eventually cause a lockdown, but I've also seen it prompt for credentials. I guess it depends on the version too.

     

    Diane_Poremsky_MVP might have a better answer.
