Outlook (Office 2019) crashes when Send of From clicked
Since the evening of Sunday 19th I have been unable to send emails from Outlook on my PC. I can compose an email and select recipients. However when I try to send the message it hangs for a few seco...
Salvation may be at hand. On a different microsoft forum, Gabriel Bratton posted the following:-
"The Outlook Team just made a change from the service that will fix this issue. It may take up to four hours for it to be picked up in the client. If you have not seen the fix by then try restarting the Outlook client a couple times.
Also, this issue is permanently fixed starting in build 17029.20052."
... and later this evening (GMT) ...
"I apologize for the delay getting follow up on this. There was a lot of out of office due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
For those still seeing the issue its still being worked on. The service change to mitigate it has not rolled out yet. If I don't post back, it should be resolved by tomorrow morning."
So if it is fixed it should be OK by tomorrow afternoon (UK time). Fingers crossed...

thelordgiveth thanks for the update, yesterday evening i uninstalled all the office version on the customer's laptop, reinstalled the Office 2019 version and this morning, i check everything and was working.
I don't know if he get the fix during the night automatically...

Workaround to revert to prior working build:
1. Open a Command Prompt window (from Windows search box type Command Prompt, right click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator)
2. Paste the commands below into the Command Prompt window and press Enter after each:
cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun
officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.16924.20124
