Outlook interpreting CTRL+DEL as "Ignore Conversation" instead of deleting the next word.

It's only "Ignore" if the focus in on your message list. In the body of an email it's still "Delete Previous Word". That's what I see. Appears to have been that way for a long time:

If you press CTRL + DEL on an email message it gives you the option of automatically moving any new messages that are determined to be part of the same email string or conversation to the Deleted Items folder.
But what's weird is that the official Classic Shortcuts:
Say that "Delete and Ignore" is Ctrl+Shift+D. Which does nothing for me in either the mail list or the body.
