Jul 26, 2016Outlook helps you focus on what matters to you!
We are being inundated with more information, more communication and more email vying for our attention. It is more critical than ever to have tools that help us cut through the noise and focus on what matters most. Today, Outlook is expanding the availability of two new experiences to do just that—Focused Inbox and @mentions. Learn more about the new Focused Inbox on Office Blogs.
- What version of Outlook do you use? I've had @mentions for about a month using Outlook insider builds.
- DeletedI also still do not have mentions in my Outlook. I am configured for First Release and my Office installation claims it is fully up-to-date. It's build 7466.2038.
It is really frustrating to get all these announcements and four months later, the features are still not available.Having your tenant configured for First Release means that you get new features in the service, server side features. It doesn't mean you get updates in the Office Pro Plus client any quicker.
In Office Pro Plus you are getting updates depending on which channel your client is subscribed to, for example Current Chanel, Defered Channel. I'm in Office Insider (Slow) channel and have had @mentions for some time now.
- DeletedWhen can I expect @mentioning in outlook client? My account is subscribed for FR..

Hi, so what's the status on the "Early September" rollout?
I'm not seeing in my FR tenant yet.
I've also found a powershell reference to this setting Get-OrganizationConfig | fl *focus*
though there isn't any official documentation yet.
- I *love* the @mentioning in email, feels so natural and easy, I'm using all the time now.
