Outlook for mac desktop - windows keep opening

Since last week, bu Outlook for mac desktop client is unusable - countless windows keep opening and them minimising below the task bar. Eventually, the app crashes. Am on Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1519). Anyone else get this?
