Outlook for Mac 365 crashes during startup
KennyE " I cannot even get into Outlook on my MacBook Pro. Click and crash"
Same. It's beyond frustrating. I'm accessing what I can via the web, but I cannot access my calendars etc, which is a huge issue.
- IamthemavenJan 25, 2022Brass ContributorI'm hoping I can delete the Comcast profile from my Outlook 365 files. I might need a glass of something stronger than tea before I do that. Ha. I will report back.

I had a suspicion about Comcast as well. The one time Outlook worked for a few seconds, it seemed to be when it started downloading Comcast mail that it went crazy.. That was the one file the ChatTech told me to "repair". Then Outlook didn't work at all.
Started using a separate e-mail program from the Apple App store. It has problems connecting to Comcast - "unstable server connection", etc. With this program, I had to change my Comcast PW, and verify e-mail use by App before logging onto "Xfinity mail".

How many of you are Comcast users? I wonder if this is related?

I still haven't found a work around and I can't rebuild anything because Outlook crashes too fast.
- IamthemavenJan 25, 2022Brass Contributorbooo. I was hoping that would be the work around. So right now until Microsoft steps in, lots of us are SOL. I've warned my husband, who uses Outlook 365 at their small business that it might cripple them.
I tried offline mode too, in case it was angry at the Internet, and no such luck with that either. - djpittmanJan 25, 2022Copper Contributor
Iamthemaven Hi Maven. I have a user in my organization that uses Outlook 2019, and is having the exact same issue. I've tried reinstalling the app, updating the OS, deleting all files on the computer belonging to Outlook and then reinstalling, and I am still also stuck with this issue. Hope that helps. You could get Outlook retail vs 365, but I think in the end you may be stuck with the issue.
